Bobby Jones

Bobby manages production at The Chef's Garden, working closely with the farm's field and greenhouse growers to produce more than 600 varieties of heirloom and specialty vegetables, lettuces, herbs and micro greens for the world's top chefs.
Bob Jones, Jr. graduated from The Ohio State University in 1989 with a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture, majoring in Horticulture. He returned to Huron to work in sales/purchasing at Farmer Jones Farms – the predecessor to The Chef's Garden – before moving into field and greenhouse production.
He has served on the board of directors of The Ohio Vegetable and Potato Growers Association for almost a decade and is currently serving on the board of directors for the newly formed Ohio Produce Growers & Marketers Association as well as The Ohio Food Safety Roundtable.
Bob Jones, Jr. and his wife, Julie have three children: Kate, Zach and Becca. When not working in the garden, he is active in church, kids' school activities and officiating high school football.
