Flowerhouse Rooibos Tea Fabiaceae

Fabiaceae, pronounced "fuh-bay-see-ee" is the Latin botanical genus that represents the bean family. 

Butterfly Pea Bloom, Organic African Rooibos, Anise Hyssop, Organic Camelia Sinensis.

This tea blend is almost creamy with a foundation rooted in its botanical namesake. Rooibos (red bush) is a desert shrub in the bean family grown in Africa. Its leaves are used to produce a common herbal tea. We grow butterfly peas on property for their vibrant blue infusions along with anise hyssop (a native to North America) for the bees and for our teas. Serve this tea warm or iced with a lemon wedge.

Brew 1 Tbsp for 3 minutes in 200ºf water. Brews to a blue color. For a fun color change add some lemon juice.
