Carrots with BliS Gourmet

  • 1 lb Chef’s Garden fancy carrots, peeled to even thickness
  • 1 tbsp and 1 tsp BLiS Moroccan spice rub
  • 1 tbsp BLiS bourbon barrel aged fish sauce
  • 2 tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 tbsp BLiS bourbon barrel aged maple syrup


  • Coat peeled carrots in extra virgin olive oil
  • Sprinkle 1 tbsp BLiS Moroccan spice rub to cover carrots
  • Place in shallow roasting pan
  • Roast in oven at 385 degrees F until tender but firm
  • Remove from oven, add 2 tbsp BLiS bourbon barrel aged maple syrup to carrots, return to oven and roast an additional 5 minutes
  • Remove from oven, toss whole carrots in 1 tbsp BLiS barrel aged fish sauce
  • Place in serving dish, sprinkle remaining teaspoon of BLiS Moroccan over the top and serve hot
