Mixed Carrots and Micro Carrot Top

Answering the Carrot Query Did you know that more than 1,000 people each year ask Google this question: “What Do Carrots Taste Like?” At first blush, the answer may seem obvious, but the reality is that fresh carrots from The Chef’s Garden come in a spectrum of delicious flavors. Orange carrots, for example, are marvelously sweet with hints of intriguing earthiness. Purple carrots? Slightly and oh-so-delightfully nutty. Dragon carrots offer up a surprisingly lovely herbal finish while yellow carrots are ideal when your dish calls for sweet nuttiness—but without the earthiness.

So, what do carrots take like? It depends!

Micro Carrot Top add mildly peppery elements of flavor, earthy, carroty and delicious. The texture is delicate and crisp, and the entire spring-green micro is edible. Leaves are feathery and fern-like on top of a long stem. Carrot tops are ideal for adding another layer of flavor and texture to dishes.
