Kale with BliS Gourmet

  • 1/2 lb Chef’s Garden hearty kale
  • 1 tbsp and 1 tsp BLiS Santa Fe spice rub
  • BLiS Tahitian vanilla fleur de sel; to taste
  • 2 tbsp of light oil (olive, avocado, or grapeseed)


  • Devein and soak kale in water. Bruise the kale vigorously by rubbing kale firmly with hands to break down some fibers
  • Spin in lettuce spinner and pat until very dry between towels
  • Place dried kale in large bowl
  • Toss with 2 tbsp oil and 1 tbsp BLiS Moroccan spice rub, toss well until thoroughly coated
  • Place on rack on top of cookie sheet and bake until crisp at 375 degrees F (approximately 25 minutes, be careful not to burn)
  • Remove from oven and let rest. Sprinkle with 1 tsp BLiS Santa Fe spice rub
  • Top with BLiS Tahitian vanilla fleur de sel to taste
