Thanksgiving

A special thanksgiving herb blend that is perfect for your favorite dish. This is a blend of fennel, parsley, sage, tarragon, and thyme.

Orders will begin shipping November 16th in time to arrive for the holiday.  Be sure to expect the delivery and refrigerate upon arrival.

Roasted Turkey

1. Remove thawed turkey from the refrigerator 1 hour before roasting.
2. Combine Thanksgiving Herb Blend with 1 stick of butter in a food processor.
3. Season with salt and pepper as desired.
4. Preheat oven according to your turkey's directions.
5. Separate the skin from the meat of the turkey by sliding your hand between the two and gently make room for the seasoned butter mixture.
6. With your hand, spread the seasoned butter mixture between the turkey skin and meat as evenly as possible.
7. Add any other vegetables, stuffing or stock to your turkey and bake as directed. 

Add a bit of fall colors to enhance your dish, salad, dessert or cocktail. Add flavors ranging from sweet to slightly bitter, and from herbaceous and aromatic to citrus. Textures range from firm to soft to succulent, and from fuzzy to waxy to crispy.

Make a Difference: Donate Fresh Vegetables 

Many in our communities face hunger—and this may be more true today than ever. Donations are therefore vital in providing good food to those who need it. Farmer Jones Farm and The Chef’s Garden are teaming up with organizations such as The Hunger Network to provide nutritious fresh vegetables to those who are unable to afford or access them. 

Add to your order and we will package and deliver vegetables to an individual or family in need. 

• $25-$50 provides 3-5 lbs. of vegetables
  
• $100 provides 10 lbs. of vegetables
• $150 provides 15 lbs. vegetables
